Hello BES Families,
Welcome back! We are looking forward to the start of the 2023-2024 school year. Our goal this year is to continue to educate and challenge our students to reach their full potential both academically and emotionally.
Last year we introduced our core values, Teamwork, Integrity, and Perseverance. Our students and staff showed us what can be accomplished when we work with our core values in mind. These values will continue to be the foundation for our school and classroom routines.
A student climate team was started with students in grades five and six. The team contributed to our school community by participating in a variety of sub-teams; morning announcements, little nuggets, advertising, and community service to name a few. We are looking forward to watching the student climate team grow their role in our school community.
We will continue focusing on the use of data driven instructional practices while consistently implementing the curriculum in a rigorous manner. To this end we will be continuing with our BEAR period. This period is a way to provide enrichment and supplemental instruction based on the needs of each student.
We recognize that in order to be successful, children need support from both the home and school and look forward to working with you this school
