Matthew P. Herzer
I am very excited to begin my role as Business Administrator for the district in the 2020-2021 school year. I officially joined the district in the midst of a statewide shutdown in May 2020. I am proud to be part of the administrative team to help guide the district through this pandemic and will take on the challenges that lie ahead.
I earned an accounting degree from Centenary College in 2008 and in 2012 I earned an MBA in business administration.
Previously, I was an accountant for a very large district in Somerset County for six years. I was very happy to join a district in my home county. The first six years of my career began as an auditor of school districts and local municipal governments and authorities located in Warren and Hunterdon Counties. After auditing districts of various sizes, I enjoyed working with the Business Administrators and I decided that I wanted to become one of them.
In my spare time, I volunteer in my community of Lopatcong Township. Since 2016 I have been part of the Lopatcong Township Recreation Committee and since 2017 I have been a member of the Lopatcong Township Board Education.
