1.  Notice the VCCV pattern in your list words.  Number your paper from

1 -12 and write the 12 words, in cursive, in the first column.  After each word, write it again and divide it into syllables.

Example:  forget      for/get

2.  Think of 10 more words with the same spelling pattern.  Write each one, in cursive, and then write it again divided into syllables.

Example:  almost     al/most

Homework due by Friday – 10 & 10, 2 times each in cursive
