READING PROGRAM

            We currently use a Literature Based Reading program which allows the students to hold onto the actual novel, short story, or fairy tale that our unit is based on rather than lugging around another hard cover or basal type reading book.  The students enjoy this program as we also cover a wide variety of genre throughout the year including the following:  mystery, fiction, non-fiction, fairy tales or fables, French (or Pourquoi) tales, and even poetry.
