Blairstown Students Help Veterans

Blairstown Elementary School Students and Staff recently participated in "Operation Chillout".  Student Council members collected money and staff members held a "Casual Dress-Down" Day. Students from kindergarten through sixth grade also made cards thanking the veterans for their service.  A check for $1,095.00 and the cards were delivered to  Tramontin's Harley-Davidson Motorcycle dealership located in Hope.  The money will be used to help build a Tiny House for a homeless veteran in Warren County.

Operation Chillout is an all-volunteer  non-profit homeless veterans outreach program.  Their purpose is the help veterans in need and to end homelessness in the general population as well.

Anticipated Staff Positions Available
Blairstown Elementary School is seeking candidates for part time instructional and personal care paraprofessional positions.  Training provided.  If you enjoy working with children and want to make a difference in the day of a child, please take a moment to look over our employment tab for these opportunities.
